Commercial Grade 1.5" Fleck 2850SXT Digital Backwashing 2.5 cubic foot Carbon Filter, with free shipping! This whole house backwashing carbon (GAC) filter removes chlorine ahead a water softener protecting the resin and removes known carcinogens that are a by-product of chlorination as well as pesticides and herbicides. Install after the softener on well water.
The 1.5" brass bodied control valve will tackle your toughest water challenges, and is capable of service flow rates up to 46 GPM (note, carbon contact time necessitates lower flow rates for contaminant reduction in filtration systems - see below).
- Fleck 2850SXT Digital 1.5" time clock control valve on top of a 13" x 54" fiberglass tank.
- Choose between standard Jacobi Coconut Shell Granular Activated Carbon or Catalytic Carbon, both of which are 12x40 mesh.
- Rated service flow rate = 12.5 GPM. Higher flow rates are achievable if contact time is not an issue.
- The Fleck 2850SXT control valve is warranted for 5 years.
- 13" x 54" 10-year warranted tank and 2.5 cubic feet of media and gravel under layer. TANK NOT WARRANTED ON OUTDOOR INSTALLATIONS!
