HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Although you certainly don’t have to purchase drain line from us, it is often far more economical (and certainly more convenient!) to purchase it from us when you get your softener.
At only $6.00 per 10 ft with the purchase of your system, we recommend you err on the side of caution and purchase more than you think you need.
Remember - measure once...cut twice! (wait a second...)
Reasoning:
All of our water softeners require drain line. If you don’t purchase from us, you will need to purchase polyethylene tubing or PVC drain pipe from a hardware store prior to installation. Our residential softener drain line is 5/8” OD black flexible polyethylene tubing which is designed to fit and work perfectly with the drain fitting of our water softeners.
