• When properly applied, Calcite corrects pH only enough to reach a non-corrosive equilibrium. It does not overcorrect under normal conditions.
• Calcite filters will not effectively treat water with a pH of less than 5.5.  For extremely acidic water, consider a Soda Ash Feed System.
• Upon contact with Calcite, acidic waters slowly dissolve the calcium carbonate to raise the pH which reduces the potential leaching of copper, lead and other metals found in typical plumbing systems. 
• As the Calcite’s calcium carbonate neutralizes the water, it will increase hardness and a softener may become necessary after the neutralizing filter.
• NOTE: Calcite is a sacrificial media and must be periodically replenished.
• The Fleck analog 2510 control valve is warranted for 5 years.
• Includes a 10-year warranted 13" x 54" natural colored tank with dome hole.  TANK NOT WARRANTED ON OUTDOOR INSTALLATIONS!
• Includes 2.5 cubic feet of sacrificial Calcite pH neutralizer media.
• Requires an minimum of 9 gpm well pump flow rate.  Determine Your Well Flow Rate
• Includes a media funnel.
• Note: will not work as effectively on well water higher than 10 grains of hardness.
